I recognize what a brave step it is to even get here. Knowing that you need to take the next step to support your child, and your family’s well being is a courageous act.  I’m really looking forward to getting to know you.

So with that… here’s more about me.

Working with children has been my life’s passion. From early on I was a dance and yoga instructor, guiding children in constructive and creative ways to express themselves. That led to a career as a teacher, then as a school counselor and then to my eventual passion as a Registered Play Therapist. Every step of my journey has forged the path to helping children become more resilient in today’s society.

We all want to be seen, to be heard, to be accepted. And we want to feel grounded and supported by the world around us, which includes our caregivers, friends, and family. Through the work that I do, I help families get to that point where everyone feels supported.

Because ultimately, I believe that our deepest desire is connection.

Most of us intellectually know that children communicate differently, and yet we still don’t have the tools to help us know how to communicate in such a way that will be receptively received. That’s where I come in! I provide tailored tools, resources and guidance that facilitate change for the holistic home/family unit. My goal for each of my clients is that the children and parents feel successful in school, work and home.

My greatest joy is seeing children build internal regulation and learn how to access tools on their own. When we are able to get to this point, we open the pathway for children to feel confident and accepted just the way they are—and that’s one of the most powerful things to witness.

By creating this resilience for children at a young age, we’re able to lay the foundation for the next generation of healthy humans.

It’s not just talk when I say this work is my life’s passion. Below is a comprehensive list of my education background, certifications and trainings.
